About Eva Bowden

Eva Bowden is a registered patent attorney and member of the New York and Connecticut State Bars.

At Davidson Kappel, Mrs. Bowden focuses on Patent Prosecution including mechanical, industrial and electrical engineering. Prior to her role as an Associate, she was a Legal Intern to Judge Margaret Chan at the New York State Supreme Court – Commercial Division.

Mrs. Bowden received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering, magna cum laude, from the College for Higher Technical Education and her Master’s in Law (Magistra juris) at the Johannes Kepler University in Austria. Additionally, she finished her LL.M., cum laude, at Fordham University School of Law in 2021. Mrs. Bowden is fluent in both German and English.

Mrs. Bowden is a member of the Patent Law & Practice Committee, the Young Lawyer Committee and the Woman in IP Law Committee at the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA). She is also a member of the Intellectual Property Section of the American Bar Association and a member of the Air and Space Law Committee at the New York City Bar Association.
